Vacation
We recently went on vacation up to Breezy Point/Pequot Lakes area with my Mom, Pat, Michael and part of the time Erika.
I think the kids liked swimming the most.. They spent at least a couple hours a day in the pools and lake. Here aresome a lot of pictures from our trip:

Here we are in Nisswa. This is a special town for me. My family used to come up here all the time to visit my grandparents and hang out with my aunties, uncles and cousins. |
The kids thought this was totally cool, we had a hot tub right in our condo! |

Here we were out in the middle of a huge lake on an island. We named it goat island because their are two goats that live there in the summer months. |
We all loved feeding the goats on "goat island" |

Baby steps day #7
*Day #6 update: My "hot spot" is a counter in the corner of my kitchen. It is a place in our house where stuff just seems to always pile up.
And, it has been kept perfectly clean now for three days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember, these are baby steps here, baby steps.
Baby step #7
Okay, this is another easy one. I already have my clothes that I will be wearing tomorrow. We are actually leaving for vacation tomorrow, so, I have tomorrow's clothes out and all the rest packed away in a suitcase.

Moby Wrap
I have 5 kids and have not used a baby sling/wrap type carrier until now. I occasionally used a Baby Bjorn with Vanessa and James, but, that is very different from the wraps. A friend suggested a Moby Wrap when was pregnant with Jonah. I ended up getting one shortly after he was born and I LOVE it! It is so simple. it's basically a very long piece of fabric. I like it because it just seems like he is so snug and comfortable. His feet don't just dangle out the bottom like they would in a Bjorn style carrier. I can block the sun from his eyes easily if we are outside which is nice. Their are a lot of different ways to carry your baby with it. Here is baby Jonah in the Moby:

Jonah update
Jonah is already 1.5 months old. He is a very good baby. He still sleeps quite a bit. At night he will usually sleep a 4-5 hour stretch waking only to eat and then going back down for another few hours. He has started smiling which is super cute and he likes to suck on his thumb which is a first for any of the K-B kids. I think he is somewhere around 11 pounds.
