Another great weekend!

Friday night Justin took us downtown Minneapolis. He treated me to a pair of jeans at Saks Off 5th. They have a 40% off coupon on their website valid now through June 2nd I think. The kids really enjoyed looking up at the really tall buildings and walking through the skyscrapers. Shane wanted to take a picture with his DSi every 50 feet.

Saturday, we had a surprise visit from my dad and Chris! They treated us to pizza for lunch. My dad even tested out our trampoline.

Saturday night we headed over to my mother's house for a BBQ. Steaks...yum!

Then, on Sunday, we went to church of course. We actually made it on time today even though this was the first Sunday of the new summer hours. Then it was off to small group Sunday night.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great weekend! Justin had both Friday and Monday off, so we had a 4 day weekend! Friday we (mostly Justin) tilled up the area next to our garage for a garden. On Saturday, Justin put up a nice fence around the garden. Then, on Sunday we finally planted! It's our first time growing our own vegetables, so, it will be interesting to see if they actually grow.

Saturday night we had a bonfire with the neighbor kids.


Sunday night we journeyed over to my mom's house for dinner. Then, on Monday we went up to Jimmy and Margie's house for the extended family get together.
