Jonah update

Hello friends,

Well, Jonah had two seizures yesterday and one after he woke up this morning. I was here by myself which is always so scary. I just don't know what to do. Here is Jonah about an hour before his 1st seizure last night. Just a normal sweet little boy.

Then all of a sudden goes into a seizure mode. I hate it. Im do scared for him.

He has had 5 since Sunday. I talked to his Dr. Last night and she upped his meds
A little. So he basically had 2 doses last night and still had a seizure this morning .

Friends, help me in praying for my sweet Jonah that he will stop having these awful seizures.

Jonah's story from the beginning will be posted soon but I just wanted to start the updates now.

Thanks for coming along side our family as we go through this nightmare.

Introdroducing Ethan Davis

Our sweet our sweet boy was born on July 17th. I can't believe he is 4 weeks old today!! 

Birth Story:

Monday during the day I was having on and off mild contractions. By about 3:30 am they started getting a bit more painful and more regular.  At about 4am I decided it was time to go to the hospital.  I think we got to the hospital somewhere around 4:30. Then, about an hour and 2 pushes later he was born at 5:44am, weighing exactly 8 pounds.

He came out very blue.  I guess he had his cord wrapped around is body a couple of times.  Also, coming out so quickly had something to do with him being so blue. They gave him some oxygen for a second and his color came right back.

That's about it. I think it was the easiest birth out of all of the K-B kids.

Baby Boy!!

Yep, that's right we are having another boy in the end of July.  Everything seems healthy with him so far.  As far as my health I was terribly sick for the first 17 weeks or so but I'm feeling fine now. As far as my eyes other health problems and what not I've been feeling great!

I've been meaning to post more often being one of the reasons of this blog is to keep a scrapbook or should I say snapshot of the life of the Kittelson-Burke's.  I have a lot of catch up to do.  Since we bought an iPad a year ago now I'm rarley ever on our desktop computer which store all of our pictures.

Minnesota State Pokemon Champion 2012

Shane took 1st place this weekend at the Pokemon trading card game state champion tournament!!  For winning states he was invited to compete in nationals this summer and given $300 travel voucher to help him get there.  He also took home a booster box (36 booster packs), a playing mat, a hat, and a trophy.

We lean on God for all things.

It has been a rough day, talking to a friend I realized that it takes a great deal of effort and work to be married.  Please pray for him, pray that he would not faulter, that he would follow after Jesus and have him  be his first love.  Also pray that God will help me, help me be a better father, a better husband, a better teacher, and friend.
